Description
Medical device in gel for topical use based on polysulfated galactosaminoglycan, hyaluronic acid and other components with high hydrating and soothing activity useful for restoring the physiological condition of the skin, even in cases where it is altered by peripheral circulatory pathologies or by edema and hematomas.
It helps prevent and treat local skin disorders (dystrophies, dyschromia, xerosis, flaking, dryness), also associated with the presence of venous diseases (venous varicose veins, phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis) and skin hydration in such situations.
Local treatment of edema and hematomas induced by trauma and superficial contusions.
How to use
To open the tube for the first time, pierce the protective membrane using the perforator contained in the upper part of the closing cap. Apply a suitable amount of gel to the surface to be treated and the surrounding areas, generally 4-6 cm of gel, massaging gently until completely absorbed. Do not use on damaged skin. To treat large surfaces, increase the amount of gel up to 10-12 cm. Repeat the application up to 3 times a day. Close the tube carefully after each use. Continue the treatment until the symptoms disappear, gradually reducing the number of daily applications. If the symptoms persist or no improvements are noted after 10 days of treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Composition
Galactosaminoglycan polysulfate, hyaluronic acid sodium salt, isopropyl alcohol, 1,2 propylene glycol, carbomer, isopropyl myristate, sodium hydroxide, lavender essence, purified water.
Warnings
The product is for external use, use only on intact skin, it should not be applied in case of bleeding, on open wounds and on mucous membranes, as well as on sites of infection in case of suppurative processes. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components of the product. Xioglican Gel contains propylene glycol which can cause irritation. Prolonged use of products for topical use can give rise to sensitization phenomena; in the event that such phenomena should occur, it is recommended to suspend treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding or concomitant topical therapies, use must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor. Do not use the product on children under 14 years of age. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use the device beyond the expiry date. Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened. If necessary, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
No side effects associated with the use of the product are expected. Any side effects associated with the use of the device should be reported to your doctor or pharmacist.
Conservation
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. The expiry date is shown on the package.
Validity after opening: 6 months.
