TREATMENT OF FOOT WARTSCharacteristics
Treatment that freezes the wart to the root and causes it to fall off after
10 - 14 days. It is based on the principle of cryotherapy and can be used comfortably at home. It treats plantar warts with the same freezing method used by doctors;
Dosage and Directions for Use
They may require 2 or 3 treatments. If the wart, or even a fragment of it, is still present 14 days after treatment, it is safe to repeat the application. Use a foam applicator (sponge) for one treatment only and discard after use.
If you see no improvement after three treatments, consult your doctor.
After treatment:
ò keep the treated area clean.
It is permitted to swim or shower.
ò do not scratch or scratch the treated wart.
ò if necessary, protect the blisters by applying a normal plaster; do not puncture the blisters.
ò consult your doctor if the sensation of slight pain and tingling persists or if other complications occur.
Warnings
As with all freezing methods, the skin may temporarily turn white.
ò It is important to use the product correctly following the instructions, as excessive exposure could damage the upper layers of the skin.
ò If healthy tissue on fingers or toes is exposed to the product (an eventuality that occurs only if the applicator is used for longer than indicated), local tissue necrosis may occur.
ò It is therefore important to hold the foam applicator (sponge) on the wart for a maximum of 40 seconds and a minimum of 10 seconds. To check the correct treatment times, see the figure on the back of the leaflet.
If you are not absolutely sure whether it is a wart, consult your doctor. This product should only be used by adults.
Contraindications
Do not use on children under 4 years of age. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have diabetes, as the treated area may not heal as quickly or completely as in healthy individuals. Individuals with circulatory problems should consult their doctor before using the product.
