Vitamin B8, biotin, is a water-soluble vitamin essential for normal cellular function, growth and development. It has been shown that a deficiency causes alterations to the skin and its appendages, e.g. flaking skin and brittle nails. This last condition is particularly common in women because repeated hand washing, certain detergents and solvents can alter the keratin of the nail plate, leading to the peeling of the nail. Biotin, on the other hand, promotes the keratinization process and regulates the production of sebum in the scalp. It has been shown that supplementation with this nutrient, even in the absence of a real physiological deficiency, determines an improvement in the thickness of the nails and the quality of the hair.

Ingredients
Vitamin B8 (biotin); bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose; dibasic calcium phosphate; anti-caking agents: vegetable stearic acid; vegetable magnesium stearate; silicon dioxide; thickener: sodium carboxymethyl cellulose.

How to use
Swallow half a tablet a day, with water, preferably with a meal.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
