Ophthalmic Solution
Description
Formulation based on liposomes from soy phospholipids, algae oil (DHA + EPA), vitamin palmitate, vitamin D, disodium EDTA, PEG 400, boric acid, sodium tetraborate. Buffered isotonic solution, useful for providing immediate and long-lasting relief to dry eyes, restoring tear quality.
Indicated for all forms of evaporative dry eye (to increase the stability of the lipid layer, reducing the evaporation of the aqueous phase of the tear film) and as a pre-treatment for ocular surgery (in order to obtain a better result in terms of recovery of the lipid integrity of the ocular surface).
Without preservatives.
Composition
Liposomes from soy phospholipids, algae oil (DHA+EPA), vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D, disodium EDTA, PEG 400, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, buffered isotonic solution pH 7.20.
How to use
Instill 1 drop of product into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day, or as advised by your ophthalmologist.
To apply:
- hold the bottle directly under the cap; twist the cap to open the bottle.
- Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye, pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards and looking upwards. Dispense the product by lightly squeezing the bottle.
- After use, close the bottle immediately: the solution can be reused within 60 days after first opening.
The product can also be instilled while wearing contact lenses. If you use other eye drops, it is advisable to instill the product waiting at least 10 minutes between administrations of other medications.
Warnings
Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components. In case of adverse reactions, stop using it and consult your ophthalmologist. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. The product maintains its sterility for up to 60 days from the first opening of the bottle. Wash your hands before applying the product. Do not touch your eyes with the tip of the bottle. Do not use the product if damaged. Ophthalmic use, do not ingest.
Conservation
Store the product at room temperature, away from sources of light and heat.
Close the bottle tightly after use. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
