ULTRA-MICRONIZED PALMITOYLETHANOLAMIDE
Dietary food intended for special medical purposes
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a natural substance present in the human body as well as in many commonly used foods, also plays an important role in the innervated structures of the eye as a biological modulator of mast cell hyperdegranulation resulting from neuronal suffering; this function consequently determines neuroprotection by physiologically counteracting the onset and progression of neurodegenerative phenomena connected to numerous pathological conditions such as ocular hypertension, optic neuropathy of dysmetabolic or degenerative origin (glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy), ophthalmic pain from refractive surgery or trigeminal neuralgia. In such cases, it is useful to physiologically counteract, with the administration of the product, the deficit in endogenous production of Palmitoylethanolamide that occurs when the organism, subjected to recurrent neuroinflammatory conditions, exhausts its natural capacity for synthesis.
How to use
To be used, under medical supervision, as a guideline: 1 sachet per day.
The contents of the sachet can be placed directly under the tongue as it dissolves easily with saliva and this allows it to be used without water.
Warnings
The product is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years. It is not recommended to use the product during pregnancy.
Format
Pack of 20 microgranule sachets for oral (sublingual) use, 600 mg each.
Code 8032
