Description
Visco Vision Gel
Description
hypotonic and viscous wetting gel with 0.2% Carbomer 980. Visco-Vision Gel shows excellent mucoadhesive properties. Thanks to its wetting effect, it acts uniformly on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva ensuring beneficial and prolonged hydration of the eye.
It can be used for the following indications:
-dry eyes caused by Sjögren's syndrome;
-mechanical stress, e.g. following diagnostic procedures on the eye;
-environmental stress, e.g. due to air-conditioned rooms, wind, cold, dry air or air containing harmful substances, such as cigarette smoke;
-tiredness and visual stress due to intense use of the eyes, e.g. from computer or microscope work or long periods of driving.
How to use
Before using Visco-Vision Gel, wash your hands thoroughly. To open the tube, turn the screw cap counterclockwise until the safety lock is broken. After opening the tube for the first time, remove the safety ring.
Step 1 : Tilt your head back slightly (nape position) and use your free hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid.
Step 2 : Hold the tube vertically, with the opening facing down, above the eye. Press lightly on the tube until a small drop forms at the tip. Apply the drop to the conjunctival sac of the affected eye, avoiding touching the eye with the tip of the tube.
Step 3 : Close your eyes two or three times, so as to evenly distribute the gel on the surface of the eye. After use, close the tube with the protective cap, taking care not to touch anything with the tip (not even your finger). Avoid squeezing or rolling the tube, so as not to damage it.
Apply Visco-Vision Gel as needed or as directed by your ophthalmologist. In general, for adults and children, we recommend applying 1 drop 3-4 times a day. Visco-Vision® Gel is suitable for long-term use. However, as with all other diseases, if the symptoms persist, you should consult an ophthalmologist. In case of additional local eye treatment, wait approximately 30 minutes between the two applications. Visco-Vision Gel should be applied after the other products.
