Description
viridian
Vitaveg
K1
Description
Vitamin of vegetal origin, in the form of phylloquinone. In normal conditions it is synthesized by the intestinal bacterial flora, however the use of antibiotic drugs or malabsorption phenomena cause its deficiency, which can be remedied by taking specific food supplements such as Vitaveg K1.
Vitamin K is a cofactor of the gamma-carboxylase enzyme that activates osteocalcin, protein S and matrix G1, which are three proteins present in bones. It is essential for the correct blood clotting process, as it controls the synthesis of prothrombin, coagulation factor II at the liver level; a possible deficiency of vitamin K1 can therefore lead to a failure to synthesise prothrombin and a consequent risk of bleeding.
Vitaveg K1 is stable in air, water and acids but is easily degraded by reducing agents and especially by light.
Useful in case of difficulty in the blood clotting process, support for the osteoarticular system.
Ingredients
Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) in an alfalfa, spirulina and blueberry base, capsule (HPMC).
Contains no: dairy, lactose , sucrose, wheat, soy , artificial colors, artificial preservatives, artificial flavors.
