VIACIST
Food supplement consisting of components with beneficial effects on the physiological functions of the urinary tract.
Viacist is a composition that performs two actions:
1) through the presence of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate it helps maintain correct impermeability of the bladder by preventing the reabsorption of toxic substances contained in urine;
2) D-mannose binds to the structure of many bacteria, including Escherichia coli, promoting their elimination through urine.
Cranberry is able to perform an antibacterial and antioxidant action and to regulate the pH of urine.
Bearberry has a diuretic and antiseptic effect thanks to its component, arbutin.
Finally, acidophilus counteracts the intestinal proliferation of bacteria responsible for cystitis.
Ingredients
Bulking agent: isomalt; D-mannose, maltodextrin, chondroitin sulphate, cranberry ( Vaccinium macrocarpum aito , fruit) tit. 25% in proanthocyanidins, bearberry ( Arctostaphylos uva-ursi Spreng , leaf); acidifier: citric acid; anti-caking agent: colloidal silica; sodium hyaluronate, flavouring, lactobacillus acidophilus SGL 11; sweetener: sucralose.
How to use
In the treatment of acute phases, take 2 sachets per day with an empty bladder away from meals for at least a week, then proceed with 1 sachet per day for at least 2 weeks.
To allow the mannose to bind to the bacteria, it is best not to drink for 45 minutes to 1 hour after taking it.
After this time, drink abundantly.
Remember that 1.5-2 litres of water a day promote urinary flow.
In case of milder symptoms or continuous action, the recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day for 2 weeks per month.
Warnings
Cranberry may interact with oral anticoagulants that are vitamin K antagonists (e.g., Warfarin and Coumadin).
In subjects undergoing oral anticoagulant therapy, in order to avoid the risk of bleeding, the intake of cranberry-based food supplements must take place under medical supervision.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children.
Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Conservation
Store below 30°C, away from direct sources of heat and humidity.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging.
Do not dispose of in the environment after use.
