Description
Tollat
Description
Food supplement based on lactase (an enzyme derived from Asperdillus oryzae) and probiotic lactic ferments and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS).
Lactase allows the hydrolysis of lactose, aiding digestion in people who have difficulty digesting it.
Tollat is useful in physiologically promoting the digestion of lactose present in foods into two simple sugars, glucose and galactose, which are easily digestible.
For those who are lactose intolerant, the use of Tollat can help counteract the formation of intestinal gas, unpleasant flatulence and - sometimes - even diarrhea.
Tollat is indicated for lactose intolerant subjects as it is useful in physiologically promoting the digestive process of lactose, preventing it from reaching the colon, where it would be fermented by intestinal bacteria, with the consequent onset of intestinal disorders.
Ingredients
Lactobacillus reuteri SGL01, bacillus subtilis SNZ-1972, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, fructooligosaccharides, lactase, bacillus coagulans MTCC5260; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids.
Nutritional characteristics
How to use
It is recommended to take 1-2 capsules per day to be swallowed with a large glass of water approximately 15-30 minutes before meals.
Taking 1 capsule of Tollat allows the digestion of approximately 12.5 grams of lactose (corresponding to the quantity contained in approximately 250 ml of milk).
Warnings
Do not use if there is known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other components of the formulation.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: the lactase enzyme is normally present in the intestine, it does not enter the bloodstream. There are no scientific studies available on the use of lactase during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is advisable to consult your doctor, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy.
The lactase enzyme is active only at intestinal level and is not absorbed. Therefore, any side effects are localized or linked to cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient and/or to one of the components of the formulation. In this case, it is necessary to interrupt the treatment. The possibility of side effects is limited if you stick to the dosage prescribed by your doctor.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Supplements should not be considered as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Take the product with every meal containing lactose. Lactose tolerance varies and it is advisable to seek medical advice.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
