Clinically tested. Has 30 memories. Backlit display with date and time.

How to use
Body temperature measurement
1. Press the ON/OFF button. The display will activate and show all segments for approximately 1 second.
2. The flashing "°C" or "°F" and a short beep will indicate that the thermometer is ready for AK measurement.
3. Point the thermometer at the center of your forehead at a distance of no more than 5 cm. If your forehead is covered with hair, sweat or dirt, remove these obstacles to improve the accuracy of the measurement.
4. Press the START button and make sure that the blue light pointer is directed to the center of the forehead. After about 3 seconds a long beep will indicate that the measurement is finished.
5. Read the measured temperature on the display.
Temperature measurement in object mode
1. Follow the steps 1-2 above and point the thermometer at the center of the object whose temperature you want to know at a distance of no more than 5 cm. Press the START button. After about 3 seconds, a long beep will indicate that the measurement is finished.
2. Read the measured temperature on the display.
Normal body temperature values:
- Axillary: 34.7-37.3°C/94.5-99.1°F
- Oral: 35.5-37.5°C/95.9-99.5°F
- Rectal: 36.6-38.0°C/97.9-100.4°F
- Microlife NC 150: 35.4-37.4°C/95.7-99.3°F

Cleaning and disinfection
The probe and thermometer can be cleaned with a cotton cloth slightly moistened with alcohol (isopropyl alcohol 70%). Make sure that no liquid enters the thermometer. Never use abrasive substances such as solvents or immerse the thermometer in liquids. Do not scratch the surface or the probe of the thermometer.

Warnings
Follow the instructions for use: read them carefully and keep them. Use the device as described in the user manual. Never immerse this device in water or other liquids. For cleaning, follow the instructions in the Cleaning and Disinfection section of the manual. Do not use the device if you think it is damaged or if you notice anything strange. Never open the device.
A physiological condition called vasoconstriction may occur in the early stages of fever, causing a so-called "cold skin" effect. The temperature measured on the forehead during this phase may be unusually low. If the measured temperature does not reflect the patient's condition or is unusually low, then repeat the measurements every 15 minutes, or compare the results with another measuring device. This device is constructed of delicate components and must be treated with care. Observe the storage and operating conditions described in the "Technical Specifications" chapter. Make sure that children do not use the device without adult supervision; some parts are small and could be swallowed. Do not use the device near strong electromagnetic fields such as mobile phones or radio installations. Maintain a minimum distance of 3.3 m from other appliances when using this device.
Protect the device from: extreme temperatures; shocks and falls; contamination and dust; direct sunlight; heat and cold. Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a long period of time. The measurement obtained with this device does not represent a diagnosis. It does not replace the consultation of your doctor, especially if the result does not correspond to your symptoms. Do not rely only on the measurement, always consider other symptoms that may appear and the general condition of the patient. If necessary, it is advisable to call a doctor or an ambulance.
Before measurement, patients and thermometer must remain in the same environment and under the same conditions, for at least 30 minutes. Do not measure body temperature during or immediately after breastfeeding. Do not use the thermometer in a very humid environment. The patient should not drink, eat or exercise before or while measuring the temperature. Do not move the thermometer from the measurement area until you hear the sound signal indicating the end of the measurement. 10 short beeps and the red backlit display will warn the patient that the measured temperature is equal to or greater than 37.5°C: fever alarm. Take the measurement in the same area as the temperature varies depending on the measurement point. Doctors recommend rectal measurement of temperature for children from 0 to 6 months as all other methods can give unreliable results. If using this thermometer for children from 0 to 6 months, we recommend that you always also take a rectal measurement of body temperature.
In the following situations it is recommended to take at least three readings, taking the highest one as a reference:
1. children under 3 years of age and with immune system problems where the presence or absence of fever is a critical element;
2. when the user is learning or does not yet have sufficient experience in using this thermometer or has doubts about the measurements taken;
3. when measurements are deemed too low.
Body temperature measurements in different areas of the body cannot be compared with each other because body temperature varies depending on where and when it is measured. The temperature is highest in the evening and lowest about an hour before waking up.
