Instructions for use
1) Before starting the measurement, make sure that the liquid column is below the first numbered mark (between 35°C and 36°C).
2) Disinfect the thermometer before and after each use.
3) Position the thermometer according to the type of measurement (axillary, rectal, oral).
4) After about 4 minutes the thermometer will have detected the body temperature. To read the temperature, rotate the thermometer slowly back and forth. The liquid contained in the glass capillary tube of the thermometer indicates the body temperature displayed on the thermometer scale.
5) To reset the thermometer at the end of the measurement, hold it firmly on the side opposite the bulb and shake it vigorously by moving your wrist downwards 15 to 20 times to replace the liquid in the bulb.
Special precautions
The storage temperature of glass thermometers with galinstan should not be lower than -15°C or higher than +42°C.
