Rhinosinusitis is an inflammatory process affecting the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses.
Swelling of the nasal mucosa and rhinorrhea can cause nasal obstruction (blocked nose effect), which in turn promotes the stagnation of secretions, creating ideal conditions for microbial proliferation.
Even following surgical interventions in the nasal and paranasal region, such as turbinate surgery, an inflammatory state of the nasal mucosa may arise, characterized by swelling and reduced nasal respiratory function.
In all the above cases, it may be useful to clean the nasal passages to help restore the physiological state of the mucosa, with consequent decongestion, re-establishing the natural patency of the nasal cavities.
The hypertonic nasal spray solution IPERSAL:
• promotes cleansing and removal of viruses, bacteria, pollen, macro and micro particles from the nasal mucosa.
• Thanks to its saline composition , it determines a natural asthmatic effect, attracting water from the mucosa, promoting the reduction of swelling and re-establishing the natural patency of the nasal passages.
• The sulphur component helps restore normal respiratory function, exerting a fluidifying action through a direct mucolytic effect; sulphur also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Directions
Cleansing with Ipersal helps restore the physiological condition of the nasal mucosa. It is particularly indicated:
• as an adjuvant in treatments where it is necessary to reduce the edematous state of the mucous membranes and improve respiratory function (rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, post-operative course, counteracting nasal congestion and, if present, promoting the fluidification and removal of abundant catarrhal and/or purulent secretions.

Particular attention was paid to the delivery method of Ipersa.
The distinctive dispenser has the unique feature of protecting the solution from pollutants.
A mechanical system guarantees its safety of use, preventing the entry of foreign substances that could contaminate the solution itself.
Consequently, the use of preservatives that could cause irritation of the nasal mucosa, particularly in hyperreactive subjects, is excluded.
How to use
Ipersal spray ecological delivery (without gas):
1. remove the protective cap from the bottle.
2. Keeping your head slightly tilted back, gently insert the nozzle into one nostril (see illustration), directing the spray towards the external wall of the nasal cavity.
3. Press the wings of the dispenser with your fingers while simultaneously inhaling through your nose.
4. Repeat the application with the other nostril.
5. Wait a few minutes before blowing your nose.
For effective action, approximately 5 sprays per day per nostril are recommended.
However, PIpersal can be applied a greater number of times, as needed.
Warnings
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if lesions are present.
Use the product only for its intended use.
