SICCOSTIL CROSS
Description
Preservative-free ophthalmic solution, indicated for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and pet rabbits. Sodium Hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) is a viscoelastic component naturally present in ocular structures and the cross-linked form is a form specifically developed to obtain a highly stable molecule with a peculiar resistance to degradation and with specific characteristics for ophthalmic application.
The synergy of the components forms a viscoelastic and hydrating defensive barrier which, thanks to its properties, provides immediate relief in cases of mild-moderate dry eyes and associated environmental stress.
How to use
Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, remove the bottle cap and grasp it between the thumb and forefinger of your dominant hand.
Hold the animal's head still by containing the muzzle with the non-dominant hand, place the dominant hand sideways over the animal's head so that you can gently pull the upper eyelid with the outer edge of the little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye, place the bottle over the eye and instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the eye 2-3 times a day by applying light pressure on the body of the bottle.
Reward the animal after application.
Components
Purified water, soy phospholipids (liposomes) 5%, boric acid, sodium chloride, cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, sodium tetraborate, disodium edetate.
Warnings
External use. For veterinary use only.
- Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use.
- Avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your eye.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package.
- Allow 10-15 minutes to pass between instilling Siccostil Cross and any instillation of drugs or products for external ophthalmic use.
- Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility to any component of the preparation.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Conservation
Keep away from heat sources, store in a dry place at a temperature between 5 and 35°C.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 6 months.
