Description
Made with soy, wheat and sea salt, it has a more delicate and less salty flavour than tamari. Made with the best traditional methods (fermented for 18 months in wooden barrels). The fermentation process enriches it with enzymes that stimulate digestion and the proteins they are rich in help complete a predominantly vegetarian diet. Shoyu is pasteurised for one hour at 82° to avoid degradation and stop fermentation, the high water content would not otherwise allow it to be preserved. It goes well with any type of savoury dish. It replaces salt, stock cubes and various flavourings. Also suitable for cold dishes, salads and sauces. To be used directly on the plate with rice, pasta, sushi. Product suitable for vegans.
