Description
SenSura Mio Flex, convex light plate with adhesive attachment for Colostomy is a plate made of a hydrocolloid-based adhesive and a floating ring equipped with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
Plaque: the adhesive, designed thanks to BodyFit Technology, is elastic, of new conception and made up of two layers; it has an oval shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesiveness, safety and protection of the skin. The innermost layer has a special network structure that incorporates small-sized hydrocolloids: in contact with the excretions it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the onset of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin humidity, promoting tissue repair. The outermost layer has an elastic capacity of the adhesive that allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering high instant adhesiveness and consequent safety in use.
It is available in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface).
It has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor vision, the circles do not intersect.
The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise adhesive removal tab for greater visibility, and an easy-grip thumb grip.
The plate features the innovative internal grid to the shell that guarantees stability and flexibility without any compromise or loss of performance from either element. The grid has been designed to move and adapt to all types of abdomen.
Convex Light or light convexity plate: has a 6 mm convexity to manage areas that require convexity but not with high curvatures. It guarantees the right stability to allow the stoma to protrude at the skin level.
The plate is equipped with a special floating ring with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
Does not contain latex.

Store in the original intact packaging away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components and therefore does not require special disposal protocols. Do not dispose of in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Validity in intact packaging: 3 years from date of production.
