Sedapeg is a medical device based on Macrogol 3350, indicated in cases of chronic constipation and irregular bowel movements. Thanks to the osmotic effect of Macrogol 3350, it determines rehydration and softening of the fecal mass, accelerating intestinal transit, promoting peristalsis and facilitating evacuation in a natural way.
It is not absorbed or metabolised in the intestine, does not ferment in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the feces in an unchanged form.
How to use
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass (about 120 ml) of water or other liquid.
Mix until completely dissolved.
Drink the reconstituted solution.
The number of sachets to be taken can be reconstituted beforehand in the appropriate volume of water and the solution stored in the refrigerator covered, for a maximum of 24 hours.
If not used, it should be discarded.
It is recommended to take Sedapeg away from meals.
Take Sedapeg away from taking medications because accelerating intestinal transit could negatively affect their effectiveness.
DOSAGE
Shock therapy for constipation:
from 6 months to 2 years: half a sachet - 2 sachets per day.
From 2 to 4 years: 2-3 sachets per day.
Over 5 years: 3-4 sachets per day.
Take for up to 5 days.
Maintenance therapy:
from 6 months to 2 years: half a sachet - 1 sachet per day.
From 2 to 4 years: 1 sachet per day.
Over 5 years: 2 sachets per day.
Maximum therapy cycle of 28 days.

Warnings
The use of Sedapeg should be considered a complementary and temporary treatment to be associated with a healthy lifestyle and a varied and balanced diet appropriate for constipation.
If you are taking other therapies, consult your doctor before taking Sedapeg.
Do not continue treatment beyond 28 days.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 sachets per day.
The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
