Description
Symptomatic treatment of constipation. It promotes peristalsis, helping to have an adequate intestinal evacuation, thus counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecalomas.
Macrogol is a high molecular weight, water-soluble inert polymer that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake, retaining it in the feces. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electrolytic imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.

How to use
Indicated for adults and children over 12 years of age, 1 to 4 sachets per day. The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 4 sachets per day.
Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (125 ml for each sachet) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if you need to take the minimum dose (1 sachet per day). For larger doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
Warnings
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Administration to children must be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. During pregnancy and breastfeeding use the product under medical supervision. The product may reduce the time spent in the intestine and therefore the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor in case of simultaneous intake of oral medicines, which must in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart. In case of adverse reactions, suspend treatment and consult your doctor. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
