Description
Pregestimil LIPIL
Description
Special medical purpose formula based on extensively hydrolyzed proteins. With medium chain triglycerides (MCT) for the dietary management of maldigestion/malabsorption. Pregestimil is indicated for the dietary management of infants with cow's milk/soy allergy and/or with problems of maldigestion/fat malabsorption with symptoms such as diarrhea, gastrointestinal symptoms or failure to thrive. Pregestimil contains extensively hydrolyzed casein proteins, together with a significant amount of medium chain triglycerides (MCT) that are easily absorbed. Pregestimil is lactose-free. The extensively hydrolyzed formula has a different taste and smell from standard formulas, so the infant must be accustomed to it.
