PoliAct Fluid DROPS for the synergistic peri- and sub-ungual control of the factors responsible for microbial penetration.
Relevant and frequent component of Tinea Pedis (Athlete's Foot). Onychomycosis is a very common nail disease that affects approximately 20% of the population; in patients over 60 years of age, onychomycosis reaches much higher percentages, between 50 and 75%. Numerous risk factors that predispose to onychomycosis have been identified; many of these factors are characteristic of elderly subjects (peripheral neuropathies, ischemia, venous stasis, chronic thrombophlebitis, diabetes, hypertension, etc.). Even in young and adult subjects, the increasing use of footwear with insufficient transpiration, frequenting infected beaches, swimming pools, showers, etc. constitute increasing risk factors for fungal nail infections. Penetration of the fungus depends on the degree of reactivity of the dermo-epidermal tissues that make up the nail apparatus (nail bed, nail matrix, hyponychium, etc.). These manifestations are frequently accompanied by conditions of nail trophism with alteration of shape, color, structure (onychodystrophy). The substances contained in PODATLET PoliAct DROPS act in a synergic and synchronous manner both on the control of the degree of reactivity of the skin and mucocutaneous tissues (through precise biological mechanisms) balancing the natural defenses put in place by the body to counteract the penetration and proliferation of fungi; and on the normalization of nail trophism. Adelmidrol regulates the activity of the dermal mast cell; the Undecylenic Acid - Phytosphingosine - Usnic Acid - Triclosan-Bronopol complex acts as a bio-inhibitor of microbial growth, thus helping to limit the risk of onychomycosis; Biotin and Vitamin A regulate keratinocyte differentiation; Polydatin determines an anti-free radical effect and Urea counteracts the thickening of the nail plate.

How to use
Apply a few drops of solution along the lateral nail wall, on the proximal fold and along the free edge of the nail plate, taking care that the product penetrates the sub-laminar area. Repeat the treatment at least 2 times a day.

Warnings
For external use only. The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Keep out of reach of children.
