disposable medical device based on Macrogol 4000 and honey for rectal use in microenemas, indicated to facilitate evacuation in case of constipation.
Macrogol 4000 is a polymer with lubricating and emollient properties that exerts a laxative action thanks to its mechanism of attracting water into the stool, softening it and causing peristalsis and intestinal evacuation. Honey, with its mucous-like properties, is also able to attract water at the rectal level, exerting an emollient and humectant action.
PEGinpol is indicated in the treatment of constipation, even in the presence of irritable bowel syndrome, hemorrhoids and anal fissures.
How to use
1 micro enema when necessary or as prescribed by your doctor. Remove the cannula cover by bending it at the base. Lubricate the cannula with a drop of the same solution and insert it into the rectum, then press the bulb. At the end of administration, remove the cannula while holding down the bulb and throw away the empty container.
Components
PEG 4000 and honey. Preservatives: benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid.
Warnings
- For correct use of the product, follow the information on the package leaflet.
- In case of persistent constipation it is important to consult your doctor to exclude other pathologies.
- Use for up to 30 consecutive days.
- The microenema is disposable, therefore it must not be reused if only half of it is administered.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Do not use PEGinpol after the expiry date indicated on the package.
- The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
Conservation
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from direct light.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
