WHAT IS IT AND WHY IS IT USED?
Vaginal dryness is a condition that frequently occurs during menopause and post-menopause, although insufficient vaginal lubrication can occur at any age. In fact, hormonal changes associated with the menstrual cycle, aging, menopause, childbirth and breastfeeding can affect vaginal lubrication.
The main cause of vaginal dryness is the decrease in levels of estrogen (female hormones) which help keep the vaginal tissue lubricated and elastic.
When estrogen levels decrease, the vaginal walls become thinner, less elastic, and more fragile (vaginal atrophy). The most common symptoms of vaginal atrophy include dryness, pain during sexual intercourse, irritation, and vaginal burning.
FLUVAOINplus is a fast-acting and intensive vaginal moisturizer designed to restore hydration in cases of vaginal dryness, irritation and atrophy. FLUVADINplus works thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid and sweet almond oil. Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide naturally present in the body and abundantly distributed in multiple body tissues that acts as a structural support giving the tissue tone, trophism and elasticity. Sweet almond oil has proven emollient and lubricating properties.

Adjuvant treatment of the repair processes in atrophic and dystrophic states of the vaginal mucosa.
WHEN IT SHOULD NOT BE USED
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In such circumstances it is advisable to consult your doctor.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS
There are no known interactions with other products, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using FLUVADINplus in combination with other medical devices or drugs for vaginal use.
HOW IT SHOULD BE USED
Remove the ovule by pulling the two flaps of the pre-cut blister and gently insert it into the vagina. Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.
WHEN AND FOR HOW LONG
Use one ovule per day, preferably in the evening before bedtime, or as prescribed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms; if necessary, FLUVADINplus can be used for prolonged periods.
SIDE EFFECTS
The use, especially if prolonged, of all products for topical use could give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy. If you experience other side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest.
EXPIRY, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is opened or damaged. Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C. Medical devices must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices no longer used. This will help protect the environment.
