Thanks to the presence of Cardiospermum halicacabum, a plant extract with cortisone-like properties and a patented complex of ceramides that imitate the natural formation of the lipid barrier, the product has a soothing, protective and highly hydrating action, makes the skin soft and more elastic, slows the penetration of irritating agents and strengthens the structure of the skin barrier.

Cardiospermum halicacabum: is a medicinal plant that has an effect similar to cortisone, but without the contraindications of the drug. The plant extract of Cardiospermum halicacabum boasts anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties by virtue of an effect similar to that exerted by cortisone and known as cortisone-like effect. The active ingredients responsible for the cortisone-like effect are the phytosterols contained in the flowering tops which have an anti-inflammatory, hydrating, sebum-regulating, anti-itching action, but above all they are able to stabilize the cellular membranes of skin and mucous membranes which, in the case of dermatitis, are less reactive.
SK-influx: Lipid concentrate identical to that naturally present in the skin for an improvement of the skin barrier function. This ceramide complex plays a fundamental role in preventing transepidermal water loss, maintaining skin hydration and elasticity, preventing the entry of irritants and inflammatory substances.
Glycyrrhetic acid: extracted from the licorice plant, thanks to its properties, it is used in cosmetics for sensitive and delicate skin, it is effective as a soothing agent in products for children, for inflamed, reddened skin, affected by atopic and seborrheic dermatitis and irritations in general. It exerts its activity already at small doses at which it does not cause any side effects, inhibiting the enzymes involved in inflammatory processes.
