Description
Novalac Anti-Regurgitation is a powdered food for special medical purposes containing starch, indicated to meet the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months in case of regurgitation. Novalac can be the sole source of nutrition for infants from 0 to 6 months, if breastfeeding is not possible. Subsequently, and on the advice of the doctor, Novalac Anti-Regurgitation will be integrated into the diversified diet of the child.
Ingredients
Skimmed milk ; lactose ( milk ; vegetable oils (palm, soy , coconut); corn starch, fish oil (DHA) ( milk carrier); choline bitartrate; emulsifier ( soy lecithin); calcium salts of citric starch; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate), vitamin E (DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate, calcium), niacin (nicotinamide), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), thiamine (thiamine hydrochloride), riboflavin, vitamin A (retinyl acetate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folate (folic acid), vitamin K (phytomenadione), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), D-biotin, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin); inositol; L-cystine; calcium chloride; L-tryptophan; potassium chloride; oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (ARA) ( milk support); calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid; sodium chloride; taurine; sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid; ferrous sulphate; L-carnitine; magnesium oxide; zinc sulphate, potassium citrate; antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract; sodium selenite; cupric sulphate; potassium iodide; manganese sulphate.

How to use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all materials used.
Bring the water to the boil for 5 minutes and leave to cool until it reaches a temperature of 40°C, or heat oligomineral water (from a recently opened bottle) up to 40°C.
Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
Add the correct amount of Novelac powder using the measuring cup included in the package. Level each measuring cup with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder.
Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
Allow to cool to 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.
Average feeding schedule:
*as part of a varied diet.
Reconstitution (13%): 1 level, unpressed scoop (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water.
Use only the measuring cup provided with the product.
The number of meals should be adjusted to the child's appetite on the advice of the doctor.
Warnings
Do not use after the date indicated on the jar.
Remove the metal foil completely when opening for the first time. Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before the meal.
Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the remaining quantity.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Given its particular composition, it may be necessary to shake Novelac Anti Regurgitation more than necessary to obtain complete dissolution of the powder and in any case the powder may assume a different consistency compared to a standard formula.
To facilitate feeding, it is recommended to use an appropriate teat.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 3 weeks.
