DescriptionPowdered food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of severe allergies to cow's milk proteins and/or multiple food allergies.
Based on free amino acids, indicated from 0 to 36 months of age for the dietary management of severe allergies to cow's milk proteins and/or multiple food allergies. It is a formula thickened with thickeners and free of cow's milk proteins.
It can be used as the sole source of nutrition up to six months of the child's life if breastfeeding is not possible. After the sixth month, on the advice of the doctor, the product will be integrated into a diversified diet.

How to use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all materials used.
2. Bring the water to the boil for 5 minutes and leave to cool until it reaches a temperature of 40°C, or heat oligomineral water (from a recently opened bottle) up to 40°C.
3. Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring cup included in the package. Level each measuring cup with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder has completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
6. Allow to cool to 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.

Warnings
Carefully follow the doctor's recommendations during weaning, do not introduce products containing milk proteins or other types of proteins into the diversified diet of the child without consulting the doctor. It should not be taken in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption. In case of premature birth, low birth weight or immunodeficiency, seek medical advice.
- Do not use after the date indicated on the package.
- Remove the metal foil completely before opening.
- Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
- Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal.
- Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation. The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the remaining quantity.
- Due to its particular composition, it has a typical appearance, smell and taste, different from those of classic formulas for early childhood. It has a thickened formula, therefore it may be necessary to shake the product more than usual to obtain complete dissolution of the powder.
- It may naturally contain lighter aggregates consisting of dietary fibres which do not affect the quality of the product.
- Consuming this product may cause the appearance of greener and less hard stools than a classic formula, but without causing discomfort for the newborn.
- Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
- Do not add sugar.
- The product must not be administered parenterally.
- The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
