Description
Powdered food for special medical purposes, which, thanks to its iron and protein content, is indicated for the management of gastrointestinal symptoms caused by reduced lactose tolerance (flatulence, bloating and abdominal pain).
It can be the only source of nutrition in infants from 0 to 6 months, if breastfeeding is not possible. Later and on the advice of the doctor, it will be integrated into the diversified diet of the child.
It contains a reduced lactose content to limit its fermentation in the colon.
It should not be used in cases of galactosemia. In case of allergies, premature birth, low birth weight or immunodeficiency, seek medical advice.
Ingredients

How to use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all materials used.
2. Bring the water to the boil for 5 minutes and leave to cool until it reaches a temperature of 40°C, or heat oligomineral water (from a recently opened bottle) to 40°C.
3. Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring cup included in the package. Level each measuring cup with a clean, dry knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder has completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
6. Allow to cool to 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.
Suggested Average Feeding Schedule
1 level, unpressed scoop (4.3 g) per 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided.
The number of meals should be planned according to the doctor's advice.
Warnings
- Do not use beyond the expiration date.
- Close the jar after each use.
- Remove the metal foil completely when opening.
- Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before the meal.
Each meal should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
- The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the remaining quantity.
- The product is not suitable for tube feeding.
- The product is not suitable for parenteral administration.
Novalac AD may have a different consistency than a standard formula. Once reconstituted, after a few moments, 2 layers may appear in the bottle. Simply shake again to obtain a homogeneous liquid.
- Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
- Do not add sugar.
Breast milk is the best food for infants. If breast milk is not available or is not sufficient, infant formula may be used only under the advice of a doctor.
Improper preparation and storage of any infant formula may cause health hazards. The product may pose a health risk if consumed by children who are not affected by the disease.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
