Description
Medical device for the dressing of superficial wounds that promotes the formation of a clot near the wound, rapidly stopping the bleeding.
Haemostatic swab indicated for the topical treatment of superficial skin lesions such as nosebleeds, abrasions, grazes, cuts, small surgical wounds and, in particular, for emergency treatment of wounds with exudate.
How to use
Nosebleeds: Blow your nose to clear any clots. Use a swab or a piece of it by inserting it into the nostril and applying gentle pressure.
Small external wounds (cuts, injection sites, abrasions, razor cuts): clean the wound and apply the swab, applying light pressure. Leave the swab on the wound until the bleeding stops or for no longer than 30 minutes. Repeat the application 2 times a day for as long as necessary.
Components
PE/PET viscose fibre containing NOVACLOT 10% [aqueous solution of ferric ammonium citrate (FAC) and rock alum), colloidal silica, ethylen-vinyla-cetat-copolymer.
Warnings
External use. Do not ingest. Do not use in case of deep wounds, with damaged dermis or in case of wounds with ongoing infections. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. It may cause local burning if applied to sensitive or already irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if the package is not intact. Do not use for continuous periods exceeding 7 days. Consult your pharmacist or doctor in case of simultaneous use of other products on the wound. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
Conservation
Store away from light, in a cool, dry place.
