Description
Food supplement.
Nutraceutical product, supported by clinical studies, useful for the control of hyperhomocysteinemia, a vascular risk factor (cardiological and CNS).
It is also indicated:
- in women in the peri-conceptional period; in anticipation of pregnancy (three months before) and in the 3 months following conception, its integration is recommended in case of nutritional deficiencies of these micronutrients;
- in the elderly, as it improves cognitive function which tends to decline with aging;
- in all cases where supplementation with B vitamins is indicated.
A new patented technology called DissoFol-Zn has been applied, which is better than the previous one, as it guarantees greater absorption of the active ingredients and therefore increases their availability.
The technology is based on a process of salification of folate [(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid (5-MTHF) the bioavailable form of folate, i.e. the one most used by our body] and the reduction of gastric acidity which improves its absorption at intestinal level and therefore increases its bioavailability.
Cyanocobalamin has been replaced with methylcobalamin, the active and most bioavailable form of vitamin B12. In addition, part of the vitamin B12 is present in the coating of the tablet in order to be already released into saliva, thus promoting its assimilation.
Zinc lactate has been replaced with zinc oxide which, in the stomach (by reaction with hydrochloric acid), is transformed into zinc chloride, a highly bioavailable source of zinc.
Finally, the tablet has a notch to facilitate its fragmentation in case of swallowing problems.

How to use
Take one tablet daily on an empty stomach. The tablet can be swallowed whole or broken, with a drink of water, immediately after removal from the wrapper.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under three years. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Avoid exposure to localized heat sources, sunlight and contact with water.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, preferably at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
