Description
Nasir baby
nasal irrigation nozzle
Description
CE medical device specifically designed for the hygiene of the nasal cavities of newborns and children up to 3 years.
It is intended to facilitate cleansing in cases of nasal congestion such as colds, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and to promote the progressive removal of nasal secretions.
How to use
• Infants 6-36 months application per nostril 1-2 times a day (2-3 ml);
• Children aged 1-3 years: application per nostril 2-3 times a day (5-10 ml).
In case of very intense congestion, it is advisable to contact your doctor before proceeding with the treatment.
Carefully remove the first protective envelope from the bag. Warm the bag with the solution to approximately 35°-38° by immersing it in hot water. Then remove the protective cap by unscrewing it and break the fracture cone.
Draw the solution from the bag with the syringe. Connect the Nasir Baby dispenser to the syringe, making sure it reaches the end of the stroke. Press the syringe piston lightly to check the intensity of the solution flow.
Place the anatomical nozzle (spout) in the upper nostril and press on the piston to make the solution flow into the nasal cavity, leaving the mouth open during the entire treatment until the solution has come out of the other side; in newborns, given the difficulty in keeping the mouth open, it is recommended to keep their head turned to the side and lower than the shoulders.
It is advisable to blow your nose after nasal washing.
