Description
MUSTELA PHYSIOLOGICAL SALINE SOLUTION
Nasal and ophthalmic solution in single-dose vials.
Sterile.
Do not inject.
It is recommended to use saline solution daily for washing and cleaning the nose or eyes of infants, children and adults.
- Nasal use: The saline solution facilitates the washing of children's nostrils, generally obstructed by mucus. It helps to get rid of secretions. Thanks to its hydrating action, it provides immediate relief in case of dryness of the nostrils in adults.
- Ophthalmic use: The saline solution can be used for the hygiene of the newborn's eye, by instillation or application of gauze or cotton soaked in the solution. The saline solution can be used by both children and adults, by washing, instillation, rinsing or application of gauze or cotton soaked in the solution.
Saline solution can be used as often as necessary, without any risk associated with prolonged use. In case of treatment with nasal or ophthalmic medicines, saline solution should be used before taking the medicine, not after.
How to use
Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the top.
- Nasal use: Insert the tip of the vial into the nostril, with the head slightly tilted, gently press the disposable vial. Blow the child's nose. In newborns, apply minimal pressure to avoid the risk of contamination of the middle ear.
