CE medical device, class I. Solution for topical use indicated for the treatment of molluscum contagiosum, a viral infection caused by the Molluscipox Virus. The action of the product, based on a 5% solution of Potassium Hydroxide (Caustic Potash), is expressed in dissolving the cells infected by the molluscum virus generating an inflammatory response reaction, the resolution of which leads to the disappearance of the virus itself. Preventive diagnosis relating to the presence of the molluscum contagiosum virus must always be performed before carrying out treatment with the product.
How to use
Apply morning and evening exclusively and in a limited manner on the pupulae of molluscum contagiosum using the special spatula applicator and let dry well, in order to prevent the product from spreading onto the surrounding healthy skin. Be careful to have treated all the papules present during the application. Re-immerse the spatula in the bottle containing the solution after having treated 3-5 papules.
Warnings
The product contains a potentially corrosive alkaline agent (Caustic Potash) and therefore it is recommended to carefully avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, wounds, damaged skin. If the product comes into contact with the eyes or unaffected areas of skin, rinse thoroughly with running water for at least 15 minutes and then consult a doctor. External use. Do not ingest.
Pay particular attention to:
• that the bottle is always kept in a vertical position;
• that there is no excess solution on the spatula, possibly by passing it over the internal surface of the bottle opening;
• that the product is tightly closed and out of the reach of children .
