Food supplement based on palmitoyl ethanolamide, boswellia serrata, magnesium, L-tryptophan and folic acid (Quatrefolic) which acts synergistically on muscle contractures and mood tone by reducing pain and inflammation.
Property
-Palmitoyl ethanolamide: lipid mediator normally produced by our body in case of stress and pain with analgesic and anti-inflammatory efficacy.
-Boswellia serrata: the effect of boswellia serrata is attributed to boswellic acid, a selective inhibitor of an enzyme underlying the inflammatory process (5-lipoxygenase). Furthermore, boswellia has an inhibitory effect on cyclooxygenase, reducing the concentration of prostaglandins that are primarily responsible for the initial stages of inflammation characterized by pain and tissue damage.
-Liposomal magnesium: essential micronutrient in numerous metabolic processes, and fundamental as a co-factor in the production of energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). The latter is the true "fuel" in muscle contraction, protein synthesis, and cell reproduction. The liposomal form guarantees greater absorption and a consequent high bioavailability.
-Folic acid, tryptophan, Mg: micronutrients and amino acids directly involved in the endogenous synthesis of Serotonin and melatonin (neurhormones that play a key role in reducing physical and mental stress). Folic acid in its active form (Quatrefolic) does not require any enzymatic transformation but is biologically active.

How to use
It is recommended to take one to two sachets per day away from meals, dissolved in a glass of water or gradually dissolving in the mouth (orosoluble).
