Reducing and soothing shampoo, cosmetic adjuvant in the treatment of flaky scalp conditions, such as scalp psoriasis.
Based on Ichthyol, Sichuan Pepper, Honey and Mandelic Acid.
It is a special adjuvant product based on natural substances that act on the scalp, reducing scales, redness and itching.
Dermatologically controlled use test of a reducing and soothing shampoo adjuvant in the treatment of flaky scalp conditions.
The product induced an appreciable decrease in the skin desquamation index and in the surface area occupied by scales.
Study conducted on 20 patients with psoriasis/psoriatic dermatitis of the scalp, application: 3 times a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
How to use
Apply to damp hair, massage for a few minutes and rinse.
Repeat the application, leaving it to act for at least 5 minutes before rinsing completely.
Use 3/4 times a week.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not use in children under 3 years.
Components
• Ichthyol: is a derivative of mineral tars, consisting of fossilized aquatic organisms. It has the extraordinary ability to reduce all manifestations of excessive skin desquamation.
• Sichuan pepper, or mountain pepper: it is a plant used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine. It contains a precious active ingredient (Zanthalene) which is effective in reducing itching, the skin hypersensitivity which manifests itself in the form of itching.
• Honeydew honey: it is a particular type of honey with important hydrating, softening and soothing properties; it helps to keep the scalp soft and protected and to mitigate irritation.
• Mandelic acid: is an organic acid present in bitter almonds. It is widely used in both aesthetic and dermatological fields for its keratolytic properties. It works by dissolving the horny plaques and facilitating the elimination of scales.
