Description
Mellin 0 is a dietary food for special medical purposes for the feeding regime of low birth weight and/or small for gestational age infants as it is characterised by a high caloric density and a high protein intake.
Ingredients
Demineralised water, skimmed milk , lactose , vegetable oils (sunflower seed oil, low erucic acid rapeseed oil, coconut oil, palm oil, evening primrose seed oil, oil extracted from Mortierella alpina) (contain emulsifier: soy lecithin), glucose syrup, whey protein concentrate (from milk ), galacto-oligosaccharides (from milk ) (1.54%), calcium-enriched whey , animal oils and fats ( egg lipids, fish oil), fructo-oligosaccharides (0.08%), trisodium citrate, sodium chloride, inositol, sodium L-ascorbate; acidity regulator: citric acid; tricalcium phosphate, calcium hydroxide, choline chloride, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, ferrous lactate, retinyl acetate, taurine, nicotinamide, cytidine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, zinc sulphate, cholecalciferol, L-carnitine, calcium D-pantothenate, uridine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, sodium selenite, adenosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, copper gluconate, inosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, folic acid, potassium iodide, D-biotin, guanosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, phytomenadione, manganese sulphate.
Nutritional characteristics
How to use
The dosage must be established by the pediatrician based on the specific nutritional needs of the infant.
Before preparing the bottle, wash and dry your hands.
Sterilize the bottle, teat and ring.
Shake bottle before use.
Pour the required amount of product into the bottle.
Heat the product to approximately 40°C and check the temperature on your wrist.
Warnings
Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the health of the infant.
Prepare only one bottle at a time and give it to the infant as soon as he or she is ready.
Do not boil: the product is sterile, ready to use.
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and should be encouraged and used as long as possible. When breastfeeding is not possible or not sufficient, you can switch to infant formula only under the advice of your pediatrician.
The product must be used under medical supervision.
The product can be used as a sole source of nutrition.
Do not use parenterally.
Once the bottle is opened, do not use any remaining product.
Do not reuse any product left in the bottle after the meal.
Conservation
Store in a dry, clean place, away from heat sources.
Best before date from production date, in intact packaging: 9 months.
