Description
Megan Ferro is a multi-mineral multivitamin food supplement with lactic ferments, 100% vegetable DHA and microencapsulated iron, specifically for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) by the mother contributes to the normal brain and eye development in the fetus and breast-fed infants. Megan Ferro contains Quatrefolic, folic acid in a biologically active form (Methylfolate). Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. The supplemental intake of folic acid increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Megan Ferro contains SunActive Fe, a particular microencapsulated iron salt with high bioavailability, tasteless, pleasant to take and without unpleasant aftertastes. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron. Megan Ferro can also be taken in the period before conception.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, which is equal to 250 mg of DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
The beneficial effect in women of childbearing age is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

How to use
It is recommended to take 1 softgel and 1 tablet per day, even separately, preferably after meals.
