It is particularly indicated for infected wounds, for colonized lesions at risk of infection.

Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing based on iodine-providone broad-spectrum bactericidal. It is composed of a weave of rayon-viscose filaments soaked in a 10% povidone-iodine solution. The porous weave of the dressing allows drainage of exudates and transpiration of the wound, avoiding maceration. The amount of povidone-iodine present in the dressing is sufficient to reduce the bacterial load, but not irritating to the wound site.
