PROTEASE MODULATING MATRIXDirections:
in the treatment of problematic chronic and acute lesions. It is applied directly to the lesion, in contact with the exudate or with the gel-forming saline solution. It is reabsorbable and does not require removal.
Characteristics:
treatment that allows to rebalance and modulate the pathological conditions in all chronic and acute lesions. Regardless of the associated pathology, the persistence of the inflammatory phase causes exudation and a significant increase in the level of proteases. PROMOGRAN irreversibly inactivates excess proteases, while protecting growth factors. In the reabsorption of PROMOGRAN, the proteases remain inactivated and the growth factors are released active in the lesion. In this way PROMOGRAN creates the ideal conditions for tissue repair in chronic lesions.
Warnings:
before applying PROMOGRAN remove necrotic tissue with a surgical or autolytic debridement (NU-GEL) to obtain complete cleansing of the wound. If the wound is infected or at risk of infection treat with an antiseptic dressing (ACTISORB Plus 25). PROMOGRAN must be covered with a secondary dressing (ADAPTIC - TIELLE). It can be used under an elastic compression bandage.
