Tegaderm alginate absorbent dressing 10x10 10 pieces

Absorbent dressing composed of calcium alginate.
Indicated for the dressing of wounds with moderate-high exudate production.
Adaptable to different degrees of depth of wounds, both superficial and cavity-shaped, thanks also to the new tape format.
Due to its particular composition it maintains its integrity without flaking and without dispersing fibres inside the wound.
Once saturated it gels allowing for easy removal without dispersion of components, which also promotes a more comfortable dressing change for the patient.
Also indicated for infected exuding wounds as it is able to manage the exudate and trap the bacteria.
Ideal for moderately-highly exuding wounds with varying degrees of depth, from superficial to cavitary.
- Bedsores.
- Ulcers of the lower limbs.
- Donor sites and skin grafts.
- Traumatic wounds.
- Other skin lesions.
In deep, full-thickness wounds it can be used to fill dead spaces.
It is not recommended for dry ulcers, third degree burns, wounds with eschar.

How to use
Choose the appropriate size dressing (you can cut it if necessary).
Apply the dressing to the wound, trying not to let it leak onto the surrounding skin.
Close the dressing with a secondary dressing.
Application:
- Remove the required length of tape from the package.
- It is necessary to open the tape as it is compressed for the compactness of the packaging.
- Place the tape inside the wound without compressing, trying to also include undermined areas.
- Leave the end of the tape facing outside the wound (makes removal easier).
