Food supplement based on vitamin D3 also suitable for vegetarians. Vitamin D is synthesized in the skin following exposure to the sun and its synthesis can be reduced especially during the winter months, when exposure to sunlight is modest. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, minerals useful for neuromuscular function and bone mineralization. It therefore contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin D also promotes the physiological functioning of the immune system and supports regular muscle function.

How to use
Use 10 drops (1000 IU) daily, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Warnings
Vitamin D should not be taken in combination with digitalis (due to the risk of arrhythmia), thiazide diuretics (due to the risk of hypercalcemia) or calcitonin (vitamin D may reduce the effect of the drug). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet.
