Description
Iridium A gel monodose is an ophthalmic gel with carbopol, amino acids, Echinacea and Aloe extracts without preservatives. Iridium A gel monodose is useful for the protection of the ocular surface, particularly during the night hours, even in the presence of alterations of histological continuity and blepharitic states, including those of iatrogenic nature secondary to the use of hypotonic eye drops and the preservatives contained therein.
How to use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac before going to sleep or as needed or as advised by your doctor.
Open the foil pouch and remove the strip. Separate a single-dose container from the strip. Open it by twisting the cap on itself. Apply 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac. Discard the closed single-dose container with the residual content.
Components
Main component: Carbopol 0.2%.
Other components: Echinacea glycolic extract, Aloe glycolic extract, L-proline, Glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine, Sorbitol, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide, Water for injections.
Warnings
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid contact of the single-dose container with the eye or other objects.
To avoid damage to the ocular surface, do not allow the container to come into contact with the eye during instillation.
The product is in single-dose packaging. After administration, the residual content of the single-dose container must be discarded since the product does not contain preservatives. Reuse of the residual content could cause ophthalmic infection and/or harm to the patient.
The product is in single-dose packaging. The volume contained in the single-dose can be used for a single administration.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult your doctor.
Do not use the product if the single-dose container is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.
In contact lens wearers, the product should be administered between one wearing and the next. There are no known side effects after administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After application of the product, a slight and temporary blurring of vision may occur.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the single-dose container.
Do not dispose of in the environment.
Conservation
Do not store above 25°C.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 6 months.
