Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of gastrointestinal disorders in infants, such as functional constipation and/or infantile colic.
To help ensure faster gastric emptying, soften the consistency of stool and reduce the formation of gas in the intestine, Humana DG PLUS contains:
- a lipid mixture with an increased beta-palmitate content;
- partially hydrolyzed whey proteins;
- GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) prebiotic fibers.
Humana DG PLUS is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants in the first 6 months of life, when not breastfed. It is also suitable for feeding them after 6 months of life as part of a diversified complementary diet.
The product contains less lactose than traditional infant formula.

How to use
When preparing milk, carefully follow the instructions for use.
Sterilize the bottle, teat and ring before each use. Prepare the milk before each meal and administer immediately.
Shake the bottle well and then pour the required amount of milk into the previously sterilized bottle. Heat the bottle up to 37 °C. Do not heat the bottle in the microwave, risk of scalding.
The quantities of milk reported are indicative; the dosage may vary upon indication of the pediatrician, in relation to the needs of the infant.
Warnings
Do not reuse leftover milk.
Inappropriate preparation and method of use may be harmful to the infant's health.
Do not administer parenterally.
Humana DG PLUS is based on partially hydrolyzed cow's milk proteins. Do not use in case of allergy to cow's milk proteins, lactose intolerance, galactosemia, malabsorption of galactose and glucose.
To be used under the supervision of a pediatrician.
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. If breastfeeding is not possible, Humana DG PLUS can be used, after consulting your pediatrician. Weaning should only begin following the pediatrician's instructions.
Conservation
Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, close the bottle and store in the refrigerator in an upright position.
Validity with intact packaging: 12 months.
Validity after opening: 24 hours.
