CE marked medical device class II, registered in the medical devices register, register number: 181468.Vismed® - Sodium hyaluronate obtained by fermentation 0.18%, lubricating eye drops, sterile product, without preservatives.
Symptoms and signs of dry eye and/or superficial ocular lesions, due to certain diseases such as superficial keratitis, Sjögren's syndrome or primary dry eye syndrome. For ocular lubrication in case of sensation of dryness, burning and eye fatigue and other minor complaints without pathological significance induced, for example, by dust, smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, wind, cold, prolonged work in front of a screen or use of contact lenses (rigid or soft).
Components
1 ml of solution contains 1.8 mg sodium hyaluronate; sodium chloride; potassium chloride; disodium phosphate; sodium citrate; magnesium chloride; calcium chloride and water for injections. The solution is hypotonic.
How to use
Rotate the tab. Tilt your head back and place the tip of the container over the eye to be treated. Use your index finger to move the lower eyelid downwards. Pressing the container will easily release a drop of Vismed® (see figures). Unless otherwise prescribed, instill 1 or 2 drops of Vismed® into the eye as often as needed. When you blink, the solution will spread and form a transparent and long-lasting coating on the surface of the eye. Vismed® can also be used with contact lenses (rigid or soft).
Warnings
Do not touch the tip of the open container or the surface of the eye with the tip of the open container. If you do, the container should be discarded immediately after use.
Since Vismed® does not contain preservatives, after application, throw away any solution remaining in the container.
Do not use Vismed® if the container is damaged.
Do not use VISMED® after the expiry date indicated on the container and folding box.
If the discomfort persists while using Vismed®, consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C.
