Glucerna Select
Food intended for special medical purposes to be taken under the supervision of a doctor, indicated for the diet of patients with diabetes or stress-induced hyperglycemia. It is a formula consisting of a mixture of macro and micronutrients selected and combined to meet specific nutritional needs. of patients with diabetes (type I and II) or who are in particular conditions of altered glucose metabolism (stress hyperglycemia). It can be used both as the sole nutritional source and as a supplement, orally or by tube. The high content protein accelerates cellular recovery processes.Contains Vitamins and Minerals: Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Vitamin K1, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Niacin Equivalent, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, Choline, Potassium, Chlorine, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Iodine, Selenium, Chromium, Molybdenum, Magnesium.
Also contains: Inositol, Taurine, Carnitine.

How to use
Follow your doctor's instructions. Shake before use.
Oral feeding: Can be used at room temperature or cold.
Tube feeding: adjust the flow rate and volume of administration according to the patient's condition. If administering by gravity, a tube with a diameter of at least 10F should be used; by pump, a tube with a smaller diameter may be used.
Additional fluid needs can be met between meals, at the end of administration by flushing the tube.
Avoid contamination during preparation and use.
Conservation
Closed package at room temperature (15-30°). Opened package: covered in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours, should be thrown away when not used. Avoid exposure to light.
Warnings
Do not use if you have galactosemia.
