Glucartrol forte 20 sachets

Food supplement based on Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate, physiological principles of our body present in the articular cartilage. Glucosamine is naturally present in the human body and is used for the biosynthesis of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid and proteoglycans in the articular cartilage. Chondroitin sulfate is one of the main constituent elements of cartilage where, bound to proteins, it forms proteoglycans, gelatinous-viscous substances that give cartilage its characteristic mechanical-elastic properties. In the presence of degenerative situations of an arthritic type, a metabolic defect in the biosynthesis of Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfate and therefore of the cartilage proteoglycans occurs, with consequent progressive deterioration of the joint function due to degeneration of the cartilage itself. The exogenous supply of Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate has a trophic action on the articular cartilage, compensating the cartilage deficit, stimulating the synthesis of proteoglycans and thus allowing a halt or slowing down of the degenerative joint process that is the basis of arthritic diseases. Both Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate, considered separately, do not possess all the peculiar characteristics of a chondroprotector: this occurs instead if their effects are added together by administering them simultaneously.

Ingredients
Filling agent: maltodextrin; sweetener: sorbitol, isomalt; acidifier: citric acid monohydrate; glucosamine sulphate (from crustaceans); bovine chondroitin sulphate; acidity regulator: anhydrous sodium carbonate; flavouring: citrus (orange and lemon juice flavouring; carrier: maltodextrin); sweetener: sucralose.


How to use
It is recommended to take one sachet per day, preferably after main meals and as needed, dissolving the contents in half a glass of water, stirring well and drinking immediately. It is also recommended to take the product for a period of no less than 6 weeks and to repeat the cycle of intake every 2 months.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under three years. Do not take the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not consume after the expiry date of expiry. The product contains traces of crustaceans. The product contains polyols, therefore excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.

Conservation
Store in a cool (<25°C) and dry place, away from sources of light and heat. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact package and stored correctly.
