Description
Food supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate with probiotics, useful for integrating these nutrients in conditions of reduced dietary intake or increased need. Probiotics promote the balance of intestinal flora, which can be altered due to dietary factors, organic factors or following the intake of antibiotics. Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and electrolyte balance. FOX uses a patented technology of microencapsulation of probiotic cells that allows greater stability of the product and greater survival, at least five times higher, in gastro-duodenal transit compared to non-micro-encapsulated probiotic cells.

How to use
Unless otherwise indicated by your doctor, we recommend taking 1 sachet of FOX per day, preferably on a full stomach, dissolving the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (approximately 150 ml) until you obtain a pleasant orange-flavoured drink.
Warnings
FOX is not recommended for patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus). The simultaneous intake of FOX and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalemia. In these cases, it is advisable to monitor the trend of potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known. It is known that some probiotic organisms have the ability to degrade, at intestinal level, the oxalate taken with the diet. This would also contribute to its reduction at urinary level. Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may be observed such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea. These symptoms can be alleviated by taking FOX on a full stomach. If these or other side effects occur, it is advisable to contact your doctor. The product contains polyalcohols: excessive consumption may have laxative effects. The product may promote alkalinization of urine.
