Description
Food for special medical purposes for the low birth weight preterm infant.
Formulat 0 is a complete food indicated for the dietary treatment of preterm infants with a birth weight between 1,500 and 2,500 g, in order to promote adequate weight recovery.
Ingredients
Water; skimmed milk , maltodextrin, vegetable fats and oils [structured vegetable oil (Betapol: structured triglycerides), rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, medium chain triglycerides, oil extracted from Mortierella alpina, sunflower oil with high oleic acid content]; lactose , whey protein concentrate ( milk ), milk cream, fructooligosaccharides, emulsifiers (citric acid esters of mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, soy lecithin); minerals [calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, potassium salts of orthophosphoric acid, calcium hydroxide, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, ferrous sulphate, potassium hydroxide, zinc sulphate, sodium selenite, cupric sulphate, potassium iodide, manganese sulphate]; 2'-fucosyllactose (oligosaccharide), taurine, inositol, L-carnitine, fish oil with high DHA content, vitamins [L-ascorbic acid, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, retinyl acetate, cholecalciferol, D-pantothenate, calcium; nicotinamide, D-biotin, folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid), thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, phylloquinone (phytomenadione), pyridoxine hydrochloride]; lactoferrin (milk), antioxidants (rapeseed lecithin, tocopherol-rich extract, L-ascorbyl palmitate); choline chloride, nucleotides [sodium salts of CMP, adenosine-5'-phosphoric acid (AMP), sodium salts of UMP, sodium salts of GMP, sodium salts of IMP].
Nutritional characteristics
How to use
Shake the brick before opening it and pour the necessary quantity into the previously sterilized bottle. Heat in a bain-marie at about 37°C, before administration.
Warnings
Use the product under medical supervision. Formulat 0 is suitable as the sole source of nutrition, from birth. Breast milk is the ideal food for the newborn. If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, it is possible to use, on the advice of the pediatrician, a formulated milk. Incorrect preparation or storage can lead to health risks.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, avoid exposure to localized heat sources and sunlight. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
Validity with intact packaging: 9 months.
After opening the carton, store the product in the refrigerator and consume it within 24 hours. Do not reuse any milk left in the bottle after feeding.
