Description
Soft and comfortable band of material with special patented cells containing natural components (iron, carbon, salt and water) which develop heat when in contact with oxygen in the air.
Prolonged heat, at a constant temperature, increases blood circulation in the tissues, producing pain-relieving effects and relaxing the muscles, as:
• brings more oxygen to damaged tissues, helping the muscle to return to a state of well-being;
• stimulates the nerve endings, sensitive to temperature, interrupting the transmission of pain and thus promoting muscle relaxation.
Effective and targeted against muscle and joint pain due to muscle fatigue and tension, sprains, strains and arthritis.
Suitable for chronic and occasional pain.
It acts directly on the point of pain.
It does not contain any drugs.

How to use
Open pouch when ready to use. ThermaCare may take up to 30 minutes to reach its therapeutic temperature. Remove the protective paper to expose the adhesive side. Place on the painful area and press the adhesive side firmly onto the skin. Be careful not to overlap cells when applying. Do not use on the face, head, breasts, inner arms, armpits, fingers, lower abdomen, groin, inner knees, feet or toes. If you are 55 years of age or older, wear Thermacare over a thin piece of clothing (or fabric), not directly on the skin. For maximum effectiveness, wear ThermaCare for 8 hours.
The product can be disposed of hot or cold in normal household waste.
Warnings
Do not use in case of:
• if the contents of the cells leak out and/or the band is damaged;
• with medicated creams or ointments, plasters or other heat sources;
• on scratched or abraded skin;
• on bruises and swelling that appeared in the last 48 hours;
• on areas of the body insensitive to heat;
• by people who are unable to follow all the instructions for use or who are unable to remove the product by themselves, including children and elderly people who are not self-sufficient;
• Do not use on face, head, breasts, inside of arms, armpits, fingers, lower abdomen, groin, inside of knees, feet or toes.
Consult your doctor before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, or are pregnant.
This product may cause burns. To reduce the risk:
• Check skin periodically for signs of irritation or burns and discontinue use immediately if any are found.
• If you experience excessive heat, discontinue use or wear ThermaCare over clothing, not in direct contact with your skin.
• Above the age of 55, the risk of sunburn increases with age, wear ThermaCare over an item of clothing and do not use the band when sleeping.
• To avoid an increased risk of burns, remove the product before undergoing MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans.
• Do not use for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
• Do not apply excessive pressure to the product by wearing it, for example by leaning on hard surfaces, or wearing it under tight clothing or belts.
Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you notice any discomfort, irritation, burning, swelling, redness or any other persistent changes to the skin in the area where you have worn the product, or if the pain increases or remains the same after 7 days.
The heat generating cells contain iron (about 2 grams). If iron comes into direct contact with the skin or eyes, remove the band, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor immediately. Also in case of accidental ingestion, consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Avoid heating the product in any way (e.g. microwave oven) or attempting to heat it, as the band may catch fire.
Do not use beyond the expiration date shown on the package and label.
