Eucerin AQUAporin Active Revitalizing Eye Contour is an innovative eye contour that improves the skin's natural moisture system, and leaves skin smooth, soft and radiant. It also reduces the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.
Skin needs water to function properly and effectively. Well-hydrated skin is smooth and luminous. When its natural protective barrier is damaged, it loses water and becomes dehydrated. Dehydrated skin appears dull, tight and is unable to keep out external irritants. As a result, it becomes sensitive.
The skin around the eyes is particularly thin and, when it is dehydrated and sensitive, it is more likely to show signs of stress and fatigue such as puffiness and dark circles. It needs intense and long-lasting hydration to look its best.
Most moisturizers improve skin hydration by limiting evaporation and/or binding water in the outer layer with humectants such as glycerin. However, the skin has its own natural moisture system, called aquaporins. They transport water between skin cells and help to hydrate the skin from within. How to use
Apply morning and evening by gently tapping with the applicator provided on the delicate skin around the eyes. For an extremely revitalizing effect, refrigerate before use.
