KNEE BRACE PATELLAR
DescriptionIt is recommended to wear the EPITACT patellar knee brace for painful and inflammatory knee syndrome and in particular for syndromes that affect the patella (traumas, dislocations, sprains...). Indicated to prevent episodes of patellar instability.
The EPITACT knee brace integrates the EPITHELIUMFLEX patellar strap that is positioned around the patella to limit lateral deviations. The 3D elastic mesh exerts compression that improves the sensorial perception of the joint (proprioception) and helps to stabilize it. The flexible lateral stays strengthen the knee support.
Thanks to the silicone elastic bandage located on the thigh, the knee brace does not slip and has an excellent hold. The patented pad positioned behind the knee (popliteal cavity) prevents discomfort and irritation. The kneecap is protected from compression thanks to the area made of anti-compression fabric. The micro-perforated mesh allows sweat to be evacuated to offer maximum comfort.
Available in 5 sizes (depending on knee circumference):
- 1: 33-35 cm;
- 2: 36-38 cm;
- 3: 39-41 cm;
- 4: 42-43 cm;
- 5: 44-45 cm.
Advice : to aid recovery or in states of repeated chronic pain, recommend Knee brace for gonarthrosis. For athletes who are returning to activity, we recommend wearing Knee brace Sport, another product from the EPITACT range that makes the fragile knee safer.
Contraindications : do not use in case of arteritis, severe varicose veins, after-effects of phlebitis or edema (lymphatic/venous) of the leg and/or thigh, so as not to impede circulation. Do not use on skin lesions.
