Description
Class IIa medical device for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids (hemorrhoids located slightly inside the anal orifice).
Emortrofine Gel for internal application is a hypertonic, viscous, osmotically active solution. When applied to the surface of the hemorrhoids, Emortrofine Gel forms a film on the hemorrhoids and mechanically attracts the hypotonic fluid present under or around the affected surface. This strong flow of fluid from the tissue to the outside helps to reduce the edema and consequently the size of the hemorrhoid. Likewise, the outflow of fluid minimizes contaminants around the hemorrhoids and this decreases pain, irritation, itching and burning sensation. The progressive reduction in size of the hemorrhoids and a clean environment facilitate their regression.
Composition
Glycerol, water, Pilecyanidin-I (extracts of Vitis Vinifera and Vaccinium Macrocarpon), Linum usitatissimum oil, peppermint essential oil.
How to use
Read the instructions carefully. After washing your hands, lie down on the bed, remove the tube cap and squeeze the tube to dispense a sufficient amount of product to cover the tip of a clean, dry finger. Gently insert the tip of the finger into the rectum and apply the product directly to the surface of the hemorrhoids. You can repeat the procedure after 2-3 minutes. Clean the tip of the tube using a clean towel after each use and close the tube with the cap. Wash your hands. For very young patients, the product must be applied by an adult or at least with the supervision and/or assistance of an adult. Apply preferably after each bowel movement, not exceeding the recommended dosage: 2 to 4 applications per day.
Warnings
This product is intended for topical use only (inside the rectal cavity). It should not be swallowed. Wash your hands with soap and warm water before and after use. To reduce the risk of cross-infection, each tube should preferably be used by one patient only.
Check the composition of Emortrofine Gel and do not use it if you are allergic or sensitive to one or more ingredients used to prepare the product. Do not apply together with other topical treatments for hemorrhoids.
We recommend that you consult your doctor if you do not see an improvement within 7-10 days of using Emortrofine Gel. Emortrofine Gel can be used by adults and children over 6 years of age, without exceeding the recommended dosage. This product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding on the advice of your doctor or gynecologist. Due to the composition of the product (this product does not contain harmful ingredients) and its mechanical and topical mode of action, interactions with any systemic treatment are unlikely. We recommend protecting underwear from stains.
Emortrofine Gel is not dangerous if swallowed. This medical device contains glycerol which may cause digestive problems (e.g. diarrhea). In some cases, a slight local irritation may be observed after application which will disappear after a few minutes. If any type of allergic reaction is observed, stop using the product and rinse the surface of the rectum thoroughly with fresh, clean water and finally consult a doctor.
Conservation
Close the tube with the plastic cap after each use. Keep the product out of the reach and sight of children. Store at room temperature, do not freeze or refrigerate. Do not use the product if the tube is damaged, after the expiration date or more than 30 days after first use.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 1 month.
