Characteristics:
able to bring benefits in pathological conditions such as: constipation, stenosis of cicatricial origin from idiopathic fissure, hypertonicity sustained by hemorrhoids, proctalgia. In spasm, the use of the dilator in the large size is always indicated. The smaller sizes are indicated in anal stenosis.
In cryotherapy the dilator is cooled in the refrigerator to no lower than 0°C.
In thermotherapy the dilator should be applied hot, no higher than 50°C.
